The Brief

To deliver 2-3 significant business engagement events on behalf of Oxford Innovation’s Transform programme.

Key objectives of these events

  1. Attract an audience of businesses with potential for high growth and businesses with an annual turnover in excess of £100K that we have not already worked with
  2. Enhance the recognition and understanding of the Transform programme
  3. Generate new referrals for the Transform programme

 

Key deliverables

  1. Conceive, manage, promote and deliver two or three one-day events in Cornwall within the agreed timescale
  2. Attract an audience of businesses with potential for high growth and businesses with an annual turnover in excess of £100K
  3. Create events with a strong and tangible appeal to our target audience
  4. Provide a measurable system to show return on investment clearly
  5. Meet ERDF branding and publicity requirements at all times

 

Results

  1. Beauty & The Beat, 28th November 2017, Appleton’s at The Vineyard,Trevibban Mill, St Issey, Nr Padstow, Cornwall
  2. 80+ attendees
  3. 100% of attendees rated their overall experience of the event (content, delivery style, knowledge of business coaches, presenters, structure, duration and venue) as 4 out of 5 or 5 out of 5  with 76.5% rating it as 5 out of 5
  4. 96% of attendees rated the relevance of the event to their business as either 4 or 5 out of 5, with a 54% rating it as 5 out of 5
  5. 98% of attendees rated the event as either 4 or 5 out of 5 for their reflection of being able to take ideas fro the day that they could apply to their business, with 71% marking this as 5 out of 5
